Revieve unveils BeautyCatalyst platform for multidimensional beauty commerce

The platform helps brands and retailers gain a deeper, more multidimensional view of their consumers, products, and markets.

USA – Revieve has launched BeautyCatalyst, a beauty commerce intelligence platform that unifies beauty knowledge, consumer understanding and checkout into a single system.

The platform addresses the fragmentation created when companies rely on separate tools for skin analysis, product recommendations and virtual try-ons, solutions that have advanced personalized beauty individually but left the resulting intelligence siloed across different technologies, channels and business systems.

Irina Mazur, Revieve’s chief commercial and marketing officer, notes that while beauty has spent years personalizing isolated moments of the consumer journey, shoppers do not experience beauty as a collection of disconnected technologies, which is why BeautyCatalyst links data across consumers, products, ingredients, experiences and markets so that every interaction enriches a broader picture of both the individual and the wider business.

Mazur adds that true personalization requires understanding the consumer, product, routine and desired outcome together, and using the intelligence generated at each step to make the next interaction smarte.

Designed to continuously track and learn from beauty users, the platform is intended to power more relevant decision-making by revealing patterns in consumer needs, product–market fit, emerging demand and commercial opportunities, effectively turning data from AI-powered beauty experiences into actionable consumer and commercial insights.

As beauty discovery shifts across brand and retailer sites, online marketplaces, social media and AI assistants, Revieve says BeautyCatalyst is built for the “agentic AI era,” where the competitive edge lies not just in having AI but in the depth of intelligence behind it, according to CEO and co-founder Sampo Parkkinen.

The platform creates a foundation of connected beauty intelligence that learns continuously from how consumers engage with the category, drawing on nearly a decade of Revieve’s innovation in computer vision, recommendation intelligence and personalized beauty experiences.

BeautyCatalyst is structured around four connected pillars: Beauty Intelligence, Experience & Activation, Audience & Market Intelligence, which connects signals across consumers, products, experiences and markets to reveal audience patterns, emerging needs and shifts in demand; and Business Decision Intelligence.

Parkkinen emphasizes that by connecting consumer understanding, beauty expertise, product knowledge and commercial intelligence, BeautyCatalyst helps brands and retailers create smarter experiences, uncover opportunities and make more informed decisions.

Revieve says this connected intelligence enables brands to identify changing consumer needs, portfolio gaps and emerging demand, showing what different audiences require, where demand is arising, how needs are evolving, which products fit specific consumer groups and where unmet needs exist.

In a broader industry context, other players such as Haut.AI have similarly highlighted AI’s value in exposing gaps; last year Haut.AI launched an AI-powered skincare consultant to capture first-party insights and, based on frequent recommendation requests, help close product and strategy gaps, with co-founder Anastasia Georgievskaya noting that brands can assess whether their portfolios address current customer concerns and ingredient demands before making decisions.

Taking this logic further, BeautyCatalyst’s signals are designed to inform strategies spanning marketing, portfolio management, innovation, merchandising and regional positioning, enabling the beauty industry to respond more accurately to shifting cosmetic demands, merge fragmented data across the entire discovery process and better prepare for what comes next in beauty.
