Gieskes brings almost 20 years of experience building consumer brands at the intersection of parenting, women’s health, beauty and wellness.

USA – Baby and maternal care brand HealthyBaby has appointed Meredith Gieskes as its Chief Marketing Officer.
She held early leadership roles at Birchbox and Maven Clinic and most recently served as fractional chief commercial officer at Wave Bye.
In her new role, she will lead integrated marketing, education, community and brand storytelling for HealthyBaby, reporting to president Stephanie Davis Michelman and CEO/founder Shazi Visram.
Visram stated, “She understands both the power of an exceptional product and the importance of giving people a reason to believe in it.”
“HealthyBaby has a mission worth telling the world about, and Meredith has lived that mission as a mother herself. She is the right person to bring that story to more parents and families.”
Gieskes joins at a pivotal growth stage: HealthyBaby grew more than 60% in 2025 and welcomed over 50,000 new customers, driven largely by product- and mission-led word of mouth.
With that momentum, the brand is investing in a more scaled marketing engine to expand awareness, strengthen its community and bring its products and philosophy to more families.
The next phase will also build on HealthyBaby’s education and advocacy work, including its recent co-sponsorship of transparency policies such as California Assembly Bill 1901, which would require diaper brands to disclose all intentionally added ingredients.
Gieskes said consumers have more choices and information than ever, but also face more marketing language, and that parents want to feel confident they understand exactly what they are putting on and around their babies.
With Gieskes leading marketing, HealthyBaby will deepen connections with parents and communities, amplify trusted voices, and make education and empowerment central to how it engages families.
It will continue scaling across retail and direct-to-consumer channels, reaching parents earlier in their journey through HealthyBaby’s maternal health expertise while elevating the brand as it expands into new categories.
Her appointment marks a new chapter as HealthyBaby works to bring its mission to more families and redefine what parents should expect from products chosen during the earliest, most formative years of life.
