LG Introduces AI-powered home solutions for the MEA region

The launch maintains LG’s market leadership in key MEA countries such as Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and South Africa, according to GfK data spanning 2021-2025.

MEA – LG Electronics has unveiled a comprehensive lineup of AI-powered home solutions customized for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region at InnoFest 2026 in Abu Dhabi.

Held from February 3-5 under the theme “Innovation, Forward Together,” the event drew over 250 partners and media after a seven-year hiatus, showcasing LG’s regional growth strategy through an immersive AI Home demo.

This setup integrated appliances, sensors, and multi-brand devices via the Homey Pro platform for streamlined energy use, security, and voice-activated routines tailored to MEA lifestyles.

LG MEA head Phil Jung highlighted the focus on intuitive, locally adapted tech to enhance daily living and support partners.

Jung stated, “LG is committed to delivering user-centric, locally optimized solutions that make everyday life more convenient for customers across the Middle East and Africa.”

“Through continuous innovation and meaningful partnerships, we aim to create lasting value and shared growth in this dynamic region.”

The expanded AI Core-Tech laundry portfolio features larger capacities, slim profiles, and adaptive tech such as AI Wash, AI Dry, and AI Direct Drive motors that sense fabrics and loads for optimal results.

Highlights include the premium 29-inch LG SIGNATURE WashCombo all-in-one washer-dryer, a new 27-inch WashCombo with 25kg wash/21kg dry via DUAL Inverter HeatPump for efficiency, and versatile WashTower stacks in 25-, 24-, and 27-inch sizes; a flat-panel front-loader with LCD adds variety, while commercial units enable app-based remote monitoring.

A redesigned SolarDOM All-in-One Microwave offers semi-built-in flexibility with a 2.4-inch LCD, 60 Auto Cook modes, Air Fry, and LG ThinQ remote control.

Dishwashers employ QuadWash Pro with micro-bubbles and AI SenseClean to tailor cycles by soil level, delivering a complete wash-dry process in 39 minutes.

In addition, Premium built-ins cater to modern MEA kitchens with enhanced capacities and refined aesthetics, such as the 690mm Wide Combi fridge providing 385L storage (expanded from 540mm/233L) and the Inverter ProBake oven with BLDC fan for even, fast cooking.

LG’s “Fit & Max” refrigerators prioritize space-saving integration and intelligence, led by the InstaView French Door model with Zero Clearance hinge and AI Fresh for predictive cooling, alongside a sleek new bottom-freezer design.

New AI-driven cleaners streamline maintenance, featuring the LG Wet & Dry cordless vacuum with automatic water supply, a robot vacuum using 100°C steam mopping, and a compact tabletop station for convenience in diverse households.
