ThreeSkins enters India, UAE markets with specialized barrier care range

The brand positions its moisturizers as cosmetic products that support the skin barrier, not as medical treatments.

UAE /INDIA – ThreeSkins has launched fragrance-free, ceramide-led barrier skincare designed for climate-stressed skin in India and the UAE.

The company’s products are built around a 3:1:1 lipid structure, three parts ceramides, one part cholesterol, and one part free fatty acids, reflecting its focus on the skin barrier’s natural organization rather than simply adding popular ingredients to a formula.

Its founder, SB, said the brand began with the question of what changes when skincare is designed around the barrier itself instead of a list of fashionable ingredients.

The company has introduced two initial formulations. Barrière Profonde is a richer option intended for dry, sensitive, and visibly stressed skin, containing 6.0% total barrier lipids and formulated to a target pH of 5.0.

Meanwhile, Barrière Légère is a lighter version for oily and combination skin, with 4.0% total barrier lipids and a target pH of 5.2. Both products are made without added fragrance and follow the same ceramide-dominant 3:1:1 formulation principle.

According to ThreeSkins, its approach is shaped by real-world environmental conditions rather than controlled laboratory settings.

Consumers in India and the UAE may face heat, dryness, air conditioning, urban pollution, humidity, and mineral-rich water, so the company considers both climate stress and individual skin type in its formulation decisions.

Its development work combines biomimetic formulation, lipid architecture, and climate-responsive design across Gurgaon and Dubai.

ThreeSkins discloses the individual ceramide components, cholesterol, free fatty acids, supporting ingredients, target pH, total barrier lipid density, and fragrance status, allowing customers to assess the formulation rather than rely only on marketing claims.

The company has also clarified the status of its testing.

While the 3:1:1 lipid system has been defined, thermal stability testing and Human Repeat Insult Patch Testing are still underway, and bio-instrumental trans-epidermal water loss validation is planned.

ThreeSkins is launching through a limited Founding Allocation program in India and the UAE, restricted to 1,000 serialized units.

Each registered unit will be individually serialized, with payment collected only after final quality-control approval.

The program is positioned as early access for customers interested in the brand’s formulation approach and development journey.

The ThreeSkins Co. focuses on cellular barrier architecture, physiological lipid formulation, and climate-responsive skincare.

It develops skin-profile-specific products using a ceramide-dominant 3:1:1 lipid system, with current priorities including biomimetic formulation, climate-stress considerations, formulation transparency, and validation.

The company operates across Gurgaon and Dubai and is initially serving customers in India and the UAE.
