Lush look forward to delivering the authentic LUSH experience from this store

INDIA – British cosmetics brand Lush has marked its physical retail entry into India by opening its inaugural store at Nexus Select Citywalk mall in Saket, New Delhi.
The outlet launched on January 28, 2026, following the brand’s online debut via Lush in November 2025.
This milestone comes through a licensing partnership with Bengaluru-based Bilberry Brands India Private Limited, emphasizing direct-to-consumer sales and select physical locations.
The store inauguration featured Vishal Anand, Founder and CEO of Bilberry Brands, alongside Sophie Matheson, Lush’s Senior Global Business Development Retail Manager.
Lush aims to replicate its signature immersive, sensory shopping experience in India for the first time, with upcoming stores slated for Mumbai and Bengaluru in the coming months.
The brand commits to an omni-channel approach, targeting around 10 outlets across key cities within 18-24 months, starting with mall locations and expanding to high streets.
According to Lush, each store will average about 100 square meters, blending ethical beauty with local community building.
Shoppers can explore over innovative items in skincare, haircare, bath and body, and fragrance categories, including fresh face masks, solid shampoo bars, and seasonal editions.
Iconic bath bombs, created by Lush co-founder Mo Constantine in 1989, stand out, with more than 21.2 million sold each year.
Sophie Matheson stated, “The store allows us to deliver the authentic LUSH experience that customers around the world love, while thoughtfully building a local community in India that shares our values of sustainability, transparency, and fun.”
“The new LUSH store will showcase a comprehensive range of the brand’s globally loved products across skin and hair care, bath and body, and fragrance.”
The launch aligns with India’s booming premium beauty market, which is projected to reach USD 40–USD 45 billion by 2030, and is further supported by the UK–India free-trade agreement that reduces import duties on British cosmetics and toiletries by up to 22%, improving the cost structure for Lush’s entry.
Most of Lush’s products will be imported from the UK, while a limited selection, such as fresh face masks, will be produced locally using Indian ingredients, allowing for both quality control and localization.
