Uncover Skincare expands portfolio with launch of Myravive duo

The collection fits into the brands dry skin collection emphasizing melanin-friendly K-Beauty innovations.

KENYA – Uncover Skincare, a Kenyan-based skincare brand, has introduced the Myravive Duo, designed specifically for dehydrated skin needing sustained, multi-layered moisture.

The duo comprises the Myravive Deep Hydrating & Repair Serum and a matching hydrating cleanser, focusing on long-term barrier restoration.

It incorporates the innovative African botanical Myravive for targeted hydration, blended with proven actives to revive and protect the skin.

This launch addresses skin that appears dry or compromised by delivering gentle cleansing paired with intensive repair, promoting healthier, more resilient skin without irritation.

Uncover highlights the duo as a breakthrough in local skincare, crafted with community input and advanced formulations for African skin needs.

Launched in late April 2026, it builds on the brand’s commitment to nourishing products using premium botanicals.

The launch comes at a time when the Kenyan skincare market is accelerating to double‑digit growth, projected to reach USD 125 million by 2026, growing at a strong annual rate of 11–12%, according to a report by 6Wresearch.

This demand is fueled by the rising disposable incomes, greater consumer awareness of personal grooming, and the availability of affordable yet diverse product ranges.

Uncover Skincare offers a wide range of dermatologist‑formulated products designed for African skin tones and concerns, including sunscreens, cleansers, serums, moisturizers, toners, sheet masks, and acne patches.

Their portfolio emphasizes hydration, brightening, blemish control, and sun protection, with popular lines like Aloe Invisible Sunscreen, Baobab Glow C Serum, Green Tea Revitalising Cleanser, Rooibos Glow Toner, and Argan Hydrating Moisturiser.

In a similar move, Garnier recently introduced its innovative Super UV Cooling Watergel Sunscreen, featuring a distinctive blue cap on the 30ml tube, targeting consumers in hot climates like Africa and Asia.

This new gel-based product delivers an instant -2°C cooling sensation and up to 8 hours of freshness, combined with SPF 50+/PA++++ for 99% broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection against sun damage, spots, and pigmentation.

The lightweight, non-greasy watergel formula absorbs quickly without white cast, making it ideal for oily, acne-prone, sensitive, or normal skin types, and it’s makeup-compatible and non-comedogenic.

Enriched with Vitamin C, it brightens skin, corrects sunspots, and resists sweat or heat-induced issues like clogged pores.

Dermatologically tested and suitable for all genders, it’s travel-friendly for daily use in humid conditions.

The sunscreen stands out for its refreshing feel during workouts or high heat, with no sticky residue even after sweating.
