JiYu secures USD 6.5M in growth capital

Headquartered in Aspen, CO, with operations in Seoul, JiYu partners with top manufacturers serving global prestige brands.

USA – Korean skincare brand JiYu has secured USD 6.5 million in growth funding to fuel its U.S. market expansion, aiming for over USD 70 million in annual revenue by 2026.

JiYu, a rising K-beauty player, operates from bases in Seoul and the U.S., channelling the new capital into clinical dermatology research and product innovation.

The brand projects surpassing USD 70 million in revenue next year, driven by explosive sales on Amazon and TikTok Shop. This funding underscores strong demand for its science-driven formulas amid K-beauty’s surge in the U.S.

Founded to deliver authentic Korean skincare science to Western consumers, JiYu blends consumer insights with rigorous formulation, yielding effective products beyond mere aesthetics.

Its Korea-based team taps elite manufacturers and rare actives unavailable to most Western rivals, ensuring superior compounds and standards.

Co-founder Jen stated, “This investment validates the demand for science-backed Korean skincare in the U.S. market.”

“Our focus is building a brand rooted in clinical evidence and ingredient transparency, one that earns consumer trust with every product we launch.”

According to the brand, these funds will launch peer-reviewed clinical trials on core products, elevating JiYu above typical DTC brands via verifiable data.

The brand is also advancing its pipeline with new SKUs rooted in bioactive Korean ingredients and ethical sourcing.

Korea’s Head of Product Development emphasized uncompromising quality backed by science.

Amid rapid growth and copycats on social platforms, JiYu sells only via official Amazon/TikTok Shop stores and jiyuskin.com, vigilantly combating fakes.

Strict quality controls from Korean partners span the entire production-to-distribution process.

Flagship Renewal & Rejuvenation Toner Pads feature K8-Rejuvenate™, a proprietary mix of snail mucin, centella asiatica, niacinamide, alpha-arbutin, liquorice root, vitamin C derivative, and peptides for brightening, anti-ageing, hydration, and barrier repair.

The Anti-Aging Moisturizing Cream leverages NAD+ to boost cellular energy, countering age-related decline in firmness and collagen.

These target common issues like dark spots, dullness, and lines with clinically meaningful outcomes.
