The appointment underscores IMCD’s intent to sharpen commercial execution and accelerate growth in a market that sits within its 19.8% North American revenue footprint.

CANADA – IMCD Group has appointed Reanne Rust as Managing Director for Canada, effective 1 May 2026, marking a strategic leadership move in its North American operations.
Rust will oversee IMCD Canada’s speciality chemicals and ingredients distribution across consumer, industrial and life sciences segments, including Beauty & Personal Care, Home Care, Industrial & Institutional Care, Food & Nutrition, and Pharmaceuticals.
Rust has been with IMCD since August 2024, working directly with CEO Marcus Jordan and the Executive Committee on strategic projects to improve commercial performance and operational efficiency.
Before IMCD, she spent five years as a strategy consultant at McKinsey, advising large corporations on transformation and organisational‑change programmes.
She holds a master’s in chemical and biomedical engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and an MBA from INSEAD, giving her a blend of technical and managerial credentials suited to a specialty‑chemicals distributor.
In her new role, she has indicated that her focus will be on applying a “sharp commercial and strategic lens” to IMCD Canada’s existing strengths, with a target of sustainable growth and greater value creation for customers and suppliers.
IMCD Canada already operates as a key regional hub within the group’s Americas network, serving a diversified portfolio of sectors and global principals in the speciality chemicals and ingredients space.
Rust’s appointment follows a recent leadership transition in Canada (Johann Milchram’s earlier appointment as Managing Director in 2024) and suggests IMCD is tightening its regional‑executive layer to align with global growth and integration priorities.
At the same time, IMCD Group has appointed Santiago Beltran Amaya as Managing Director of IMCD Central America, effective 1 July 2026, reinforcing its leadership in the speciality-chemicals and ingredients distribution space across the region.
Beltran will oversee IMCD Central America’s operations, which cover the distribution and formulation of speciality chemicals and ingredients for sectors such as Food & Nutrition, Home & Personal Care, Industrial & Institutional Care, and Life Sciences.
The appointment signals IMCD’s intent to leverage an experienced Latin‑American‑based leader to deepen relationships with local manufacturers, global principals, and regional value chains.
Beltran joined IMCD in 2024 as Business Group Director, Food & Nutrition, for Colombia, and later that year expanded his remit to the broader Latin America region.
Prior to IMCD, he held leadership roles at DSM and Joli Foods, giving him over 15 years of experience in the food and nutrition sector across commercial, supply‑chain, and business‑development functions.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from ICESI University in Colombia and a master’s in management from HEC Montreal in Canada, blending technical, operational and strategic capabilities.
