The launch responds to rising consumer demand for multifunctional beauty products that combine skincare and makeup benefits in a single routine.

INDIA – Veil of Veda, an Ayurveda-inspired hybrid beauty brand, has launched its Festive Gloss and Glow Duo, a seasonal beauty range that pairs the Glow Drops 2-in-1 Serum Primer with the Lip Veil in Hibiscus Blush.
The launch targets consumers who want a simpler beauty routine that delivers both skincare and makeup benefits while creating a fresh, natural look for festive gatherings and celebrations.
The Glow Drops 2-in-1 Serum Primer combines a skincare serum and a makeup primer.
According to the brand, the formula hydrates, smooths, and brightens the skin while creating a seamless base for makeup.
It contains Kombucha Ferment, a 5-Botanical Complex, niacinamide, ceramides, and hyaluronic acid.
Veil of Veda says regular use of the serum primer may help reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, refine pores, and control excess oil.
The brand says you can use it as the final step in a skincare routine for a dewy glow or apply it before makeup to create a smooth base; it recommends waiting about 60 seconds for it to settle before applying foundation.
The second product in the duo, Lip Veil in Hibiscus Blush, is a tinted lip balm that delivers a sheer, warm brown-toned glossy finish. Its formula includes hibiscus, black seed oil, shea butter, sweet almond oil, an 11-ceramide complex, peptides, and vitamin C.
According to the brand, the lip balm is designed to hydrate, nourish, and support the lip barrier while helping to address dryness and uneven pigmentation.
It can be worn alone, paired with a brown lip liner, or layered over lipstick for extra shine.
With the Festive Gloss and Glow Duo, Veil of Veda continues to grow its hybrid beauty portfolio, which blends skincare-led formulations with cosmetic products.
The release also reflects the growing popularity of skincare-infused beauty products in India’s beauty and personal care market, especially during the festive shopping season, when consumers look for simple yet effective beauty solutions.
The products are suitable for all skin types, made in India, and dermatologist tested; the duo and individual products are available through Veil of Veda’s website, Amazon India, and Flipkart.
According to Fortune Business Insights, the India cosmetics market was valued at USD 23.9 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach USD 25.6 billion in 2025, growing to USD 44.6 billion by 2032 at a CAGR of 8.3%. Major categories include skincare, haircare, makeup, fragrances, and personal grooming products.
The increase in demand is driven by rising disposable incomes, urbanization, growing beauty awareness, e-commerce growth, and increasing demand for premium, natural, and Ayurvedic products.
